Halloween Nail Art Salon is a casual dress-up and design game for anyone who loves spooky season and cute manicures. It is a mobile-only title, so you will not find it on Steam, Xbox, or Switch. The game came out a few years back and you can grab it on Android through Google Play and on iOS via the App Store. It has somewhere around a million installs, which is decent for a small studio like Blonde Beurre Apps. The download is free, and yes, it does have in-app ads and purchases. The ads pop up between levels, and the in-app purchases usually range from a couple of bucks up to maybe ten dollars for bundles of gems or to remove ads. Nothing too crazy, but if you hate interruptions, you might want to pay a little to get rid of them.

Playing Halloween Nail Art Salon is simple. You pick a hand shape, then go through steps like shaping nails, applying base coats, painting spooky designs, and adding stickers or gems. The best part is how much freedom you get with colors and patterns. I personally love the little Halloween-themed stamps like pumpkins, ghosts, and bats. It is weirdly relaxing to just sit there and layer polish without any timer or pressure. You can also save your finished designs and share them, which is a nice touch. I found myself replaying levels just to try different combos, and that is rare for me in this genre.

Compared to games like Nail Salon 3D or Fashion Nails, this one feels more focused. Those other games throw in a ton of unrelated fashion stuff, but Halloween Nail Art Salon sticks to the nail art theme and does it well. The Halloween angle also makes it stand out because most nail games are generic. I recommend this game if you want something simple, festive, and free. It is not trying to be a huge console experience, and that is fine. Just download it, install it, and enjoy a few minutes of spooky creativity on your phone.

features

  • Spooky designs galore 🎃 - You get way more Halloween-specific stickers and patterns than in similar games like Nail Salon 3D, which mostly has flowers and hearts.
  • No timer pressure ⏳ - Unlike many mobile nail games that rush you, this one lets you take your time, which makes it feel more like a creative app than a stress test.
  • Simple tap controls 👆 - Everything from painting to decorating is done with easy taps, so it works great on a small Android screen without needing a tutorial.

pros

  • Festive and focused 🎃 - It does not water down the Halloween theme like Fashion Nails sometimes does, so every level feels on-brand and fun.
  • Relaxing pace 😌 - Compared to fast-paced salon games, this one lets you enjoy the process, which is perfect when you just want to unwind.
  • Free to try 💸 - You can download and play without spending anything, which is rare for a game with this much customization content.

cons

  • Ads can get annoying 🚫 - They pop up often, and similar games like Nail Salon 3D give you longer breaks between them unless you pay.
  • Limited long-term depth 📉 - After you finish all the Halloween designs, there is not much else to do, while games like Fashion Nails keep adding new themes.
  • Occasional bugs 🐛 - A few times the stickers would not place right, which is frustrating when you are almost done with a design.
