Seekers Notes: Hidden Objects is a hidden object puzzle adventure game developed by Mytona. It is available on Android through Google Play and on iOS through the App Store, and it first launched back in 2015. The game has been downloaded millions of times, with install numbers well past 50 million across platforms. You can download and install the app for free, and while it is a mobile game at its core, it has grown over the years into something you can sink serious time into. There are in app purchases, mostly for premium currency like rubies, energy refills, and event bundles. Those purchases range from a couple of dollars up to around twenty dollars or more if you grab a big pack. There are also optional ads you can watch for small rewards, but the game never forces them down your throat.

Playing Seekers Notes is pretty straightforward. You enter locations, find hidden objects from a list, and use what you find to complete quests and push the story forward. Each scene is packed with detail, and the game keeps throwing new locations, characters, and events at you. The best part for me is how the hidden object scenes actually feel hand crafted instead of random clutter. My favorite thing to do is jump into a limited time event, because those always come with fresh rooms and rewards that make the grind feel worth it. You also get to build up your own mansion and collection, which gives the whole experience a nice sense of progress instead of just endless searching.

Compared to similar games like June's Journey or Hidden City, Seekers Notes holds its own pretty well. June's Journey has that beautiful island building angle, and Hidden City leans more into mystery and city exploration, but Seekers Notes feels like the most balanced of the bunch. It does not push you as hard to spend money as some other hidden object games, and the story actually keeps me coming back. I have played a lot of these games, and this one sticks with me because the art is great, the updates are steady, and there is always something to do. If you are looking for a hidden object game on android, this is one I would tell you to download and try. Just install it, play a few scenes, and you will know pretty fast if it hooks you.

features

  • Massive amount of content 📚 - There are hundreds of hidden object locations, plus regular events, so you rarely run out of things to do.
  • Deep story and characters 🕵️ - The narrative around the cursed city of Darkwood keeps you invested way more than most hidden object games.
  • Fair free to play balance ⚖️ - Compared to Hidden City, Seekers Notes gives you more free energy and rewards, so you can progress without paying.
  • Regular updates 🔄 - Mytona keeps adding new events and scenes, which is not always the case with similar titles like June's Journey.

pros

  • Beautiful hand drawn scenes 🎨 - The art style is detailed and colorful, and it makes every hidden object scene a joy to explore again and again.
  • Generous event rewards 🎁 - Limited time events hand out useful items and currency, which feels more rewarding than the stingy rewards in some rival games.
  • Strong community feel 💬 - There are active social features and guilds, so you can team up with other players and share tips.
  • Smooth performance on android 📱 - The app runs well even on older phones, which is not something every hidden object game can claim.

cons

  • Energy system can stall you 🛑 - Like many free mobile games, you run out of energy and either wait or pay, which breaks the flow.
  • Repetitive scenes over time 🔁 - After a while, some locations feel recycled, and June's Journey handles scene variety a bit better.
  • In app purchases add up 💸 - Rubies and bundles are tempting, and it is easy to spend more than you planned if you are not careful.
  • Story pacing slows down 🐢 - The plot drags in the middle chapters, and you might lose interest before it picks back up.
