Goods Story: Sort Puzzle is a casual sorting puzzle game where you organize goods on shelves by matching identical items. It's a pure mobile game, so you won't find it on Steam, Xbox, or Switch. It launched on Android and iOS, and you can grab it from Google Play or the App Store. On Google Play alone, it has crossed 5 million installs. The download is free, and you can install it in seconds. There are in-game purchases, mostly for coins or boosters, usually ranging from a couple of bucks up to around 20 dollars if you buy bigger bundles. You will also see optional in-app ads between levels, though they are not shoved in your face too aggressively.

Playing it is dead simple. Each level gives you shelves filled with mixed goods, and you tap items to move them around until every shelf holds only one type. The best part is how relaxing it feels. There is no timer breathing down your neck in most levels, so you can think at your own pace. My favorite moment is when a messy board finally clicks into place and everything slides into perfect order. That little satisfying pop never gets old, even after dozens of levels.

Compared with other sorting games like Sort It 3D or Goods Sort, this one leans harder into the cozy shop theme. The graphics are bright and the items are easy to tell apart, which matters when the boards get crowded. I keep coming back because it doesn't punish you for taking your time. If you want a chill puzzle to kill five minutes on your phone, this is a solid pick over some of the more ad-heavy competitors on Google Play.

features

  • Cozy shop theme 🏪: Every level looks like a little store shelf, and the items are colorful and distinct, which makes sorting feel less like a chore and more like tidying up a cute boutique.
  • No pressure timer ⏳: Most levels let you think without a countdown, unlike Sort It 3D where the clock constantly stresses you out. This one is way more forgiving for casual players.
  • Simple tap controls 👆: You just tap to pick up and place items. No dragging, no complicated gestures. Anyone can install it and start playing within seconds.

pros

  • Genuinely relaxing vibe 😌: Compared with Goods Sort, this game feels calmer because it rarely rushes you. It's the kind of app you open after a long day, not one that makes you sweat.
  • Easy to learn, hard to put down 🎯: The rules take ten seconds to understand, but later levels still make you think. That balance keeps it engaging without feeling like homework.
  • Fair ad frequency 📺: Unlike some sorting games that blast you with ads every level, this one spaces them out reasonably, so the flow of playing doesn't get ruined.

cons

  • Difficulty spikes later on 📈: Around the higher levels, boards get crowded fast, and without spending coins on boosters, some puzzles can feel like a grind compared with the smoother curve in Sort It 3D.
  • Repetitive after a while 🔁: The core loop never really changes. If you binge it for an hour, the levels start blending together, and the shop theme alone isn't enough to keep it fresh forever.
  • Booster paywall creeping in 💰: It's free, but the game nudges you toward buying coins when you get stuck, which can feel annoying when you just want to solve the puzzle on your own.
