The premise is fun, but the interface feels a bit cluttered right after opening. Registration is optional at first, which is nice, but you'll want to sign up eventually to save your progress.

The actual hands-on experience is a little all over the place. You start by designing your AI's look, voice, and personality, which is engaging at first, but the options are limited and some of the clothing choices just look odd. Compared to something like Character.AI which has more depth and better AI memory, My AI Sweetheart feels more like a gimmick. The constant prompts to buy gems or remove ads are pretty annoying too. I can see someone uninstalling this pretty quickly because of the limits in the free version and the inconsistent chat quality. It's a fun thing to poke at for a few days, but it probably won't stay on your phone for long.
